Well now I FINALLY know what that thorn bush with all the red berries in my backyard is! Thank you. Now I want to make a agarita shrub. The blackberry and strawberry were terrific, time for something a little different.

It's refreshing to know that someone else is having the same issues with worms that I am. Did this stuff work?

I keep threatening to go to Natural Gardener but have been disciplined and taking care of the hard work creating the garden beds first. But when I go it's gonna be the day after payday!

That tea looks delish and I'm sure your plants will think so. Darn those cut worms. I have found a few whole digging around but by the time they have cut off the stem it is too late. You might try putting collars around the stems. I use anything I have; old 4" containers, plastic cups, toilet rolls. As you say, no gardening today.

Look at you go! I get out every chance I get. It doesn't look as thought I'll be getting out in the garden this weekend. I am in the process of rebuilding rotting raised beds. They've been in place for several years and I'm not sure they will make it through another season.
Your beds looks really neat and tidy and ready for some seedlings. May your garden grow strong and healthy!

I'm pretty sure most women wouldn't confuse the two, but hey, you never know :)

My potatoes that I planted back in January have spouted up. Looks like this warm weather is going to persist, so I should be okay.
